I think ''Project Natal'' seems kinda cool. I've always liked this kind of futuristic shit. Nothing fantastic will probably come out of it on the Xbox 360, but by the time the next generation of consoles is out, it could be great.
It's impressive technology, but gaming needs to think long and hard about the purpose of it. It's going to the level of alternative worlds rather then a videogame, obsessives are bad enough already with games like world of warcraft, so what state of mind will this leave people in who would rather live a fictional life then their real one?

All I know is the gamers will get the blame and not the publishers, the publishers will just shrug it off. If they encourage people until they become a generation of alternative world gamer hermits, their excuse will just be that we the consumers have no self control.

Also on that Milo Tech Demo what kind of idiot says "true technology science fiction has not even written about"? Science fiction is one of the biggest influences of ALL technology!

sorry I couldn't resist a copypasta of a mini rant I just had on this topic elsewhere

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Super Mario galaxy 2, you know in PC land we call that kind of game an expansion pack, also looks like the new metriod is going down the more dark and serious route.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
