Yeah, I used to play this all the time back in grade school (and a bit in Middle School too.) It seemed rather challenging back then, but was a piece of cake when I tried it out via an emulator two years ago (I had nobody die and made it to Oregon before the winter if I recall correctly.) Heck, if I have some free time tonight I may run though this game again.
I also remember there being more than one (really cool) remake of this game, with better graphics and sound, but I don't know if it was cross-platform or not. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |

Hea, just played though again because I was bored. I decided to handicap myself and go as a carpenter, with little food (500 pounds) and little cash on hand. I did loose two people, once was my fault (out of food and starving) and the other just happend out of the blue, for no given reason. Oh, well at least I bested my previous score.
