I was listening to Captain Beefhart (safe as milk) in my room at uni, and my friend came in, looked at me, and asked 'what the hell is that???' Considering his favorite band is Bon Jovi I wasn't too surprised. I've yet to meet anyone with a similar taste in music to me. Everyone I know is either in to Corparate Rock, Heavy Metal or Trance. I've gave up hope of ever finding another protopunk, so I just put on my headphones and listen to some V.U.
