I'm played 7 hours so far and I'm lovin' it of course. One of the things I found very interesting is when your out battling in the fields you sometimes find allies along the way that help fight with you or they cast spells like protect on you while your battling. Once you leave the very limited area in which they are allowed to move they don't follow you but they can be very helpful when you are in a pinch. I thought this was a great idea and kudos to Squeenix for doing this.
On a side note, I'm going to have to go back to EB tomorrow b/c my bonus dvd doesn't work. When I try to view the commentary by the music composer, my dvd player and the PS2 lock up T.T. Hopefully they'll still have some copies of the CE edition left so I can get a new one. Is anyone else having this problem? Jam it back in, in the dark. |

Yeah, Rabanastre is huge. I had trouble finding things at first b/c I guess I'm not used to such freedom while walking through a town. The last FF game I played was FFX but the kingdom there was not as elaborate as Rabanastre. Lowtown is also pretty big. I got lost in there a couple of times but this is a good thing b/c it makes the game feel more real. Also, I think the song for Lowtown really fits well with the mood of the people down there and for this reason has made the ost much more enjoyable than it already is.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I just exchanged my FFXII CE for a new one and I still had the same problem with the bonus disc

Guess what, it turns out that the full batch of FFXII CEs have the same problem. I don't know if this is the case with ones not in my area but he tried several in the store and they did lock up when he tried to view the music commentary. This was one of the parts I was looking forward to most of the dvd but sadly I guess that I'll never see it. He emailed someone regarding this issue and told me that probably all of the dvds have this problem and that there was very, very little chance that Square would go back to fix it. Oh well....at least the game isn't defective!
![]() I was speaking idiomatically. |
Edit - It worked when I put it in my computer. I don't know why it won't play in the PS2 and as for my dvd player, maybe it is too cheap. I guess I'll buy a better dvd player later on. I'm glad that the dvd isn't messed up though. Yay for me! ![]() What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
I totally agree Spatula. When you have to go around Bhujerba with Vaan screaming out I'm Captain Basche, you would probably notice that you like the British voices a lot better. When I was going around doing this, I was laughing the whole time b/c I kept thinking about the townspeople saying shut up! I always liked the British accents compared to the American voices.
On a side note, I like Fran's voice......I like everything about Fran. She is always the party leader and I never take her out of the party unless the game made her leave. She is my strongest character and my version of a black mage. I love the way she looks and I like her tanned skin. She is definitely my favorite character from Final Fantasy since Cloud in FFVII. I have to give it to her, in my view she looks better than Tifa. ![]() FELIPE NO |
Sorry for the misunderstanding on my part HyeVltg3.:ashamed:
