[] Pokemon Draft Tournament

Seeing as this was more or less my idea, I'll boldly be the first to sign up.

Now I have to actually sit down and look at what I have available. Indecision sucks.

Bad news, folks. Sane Brain was a dupe account of a persistent ban evader that some of you may remember: "Simply Majestic" (a.k.a. SonicMan, The Unbreakable.)

As he is no longer capable of running this event, the Pokemon Draft will have to be restarted and mediated by someone else. I'd like for this not to cause diminished interest in the idea itself, as it was mine and not Sane Brain's. Of course, had it occurred to me sooner that Sane Brain was a dupe, I never would've tolerated his organizing the tournament.

Perhaps under someone else's direction, this can proceed as anticipated, and without so many peculiar rules.

Again, sorry to all would-be participants. Your patience is appreciated.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Perhaps I'll run this just to make sure it's done with minimal fuss. Complex modifiers based upon cumulative stats are needless. The field of selection is wide open; everyone has the same opportunity to draft wisely. This isn't like the Gym Leader's tourney in which people were forced to shoulder inherent disadvantages.

I figure that as long as people keep track of the usual statistics, we should be able to produce a winner. Simplicity is often the most elegant option.

I'll post a revised thread tomorrow after work.
