Unless you have an unusual prescription, you should be able to take a pair of frames to any competent optician and ask them to order and fit the lenses for you. It's not common but it can be done.
The thing is that you have o know what frames the lenses will be going into, so that's why most people shop in person. It's also easier to see the frames on your face that way, as well as have an experienced person tell you if there's going to be any problems with your face or prescription. Some prescriptions don't lend themselves to certain frame types. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |
