Not even close.

Buffalo vs. Minnesota.

This time, the goal will count.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Dont you mean Dallas crash, and not Minnesota?
It's easy to think that since Dallas was once based in Minnesota (before the Wild), but no.

All I meant is that it doesn't matter who Buffalo plays, we're due to have a crucial goal count one of these days.

How ya doing, buddy?

In before BZ comparing it to Neil's hit on Drury.
Yeah, god forbid a town should be upset over an extremely cheap shot to one of its better players.

Fuck off.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Funny that it's mentioned. That "fisherman" logo was one of my all-time favorite NHL logos. It beats the pants off of most anything presented by the other teams. I don't know why fans demanded the return of their shitty, old, Long Island logo. "Oooooh, a peninsula! It's a-comin' to get me! I'm shaking!"

The only logos that compare in awesomeness are the Oiler's alternate logo, the Washington Capitals and the old, Vancouver Canucks "Star Wars Skate".

The one hockey logo I never understood was the Quebec Nordiques. What was that thing even supposed to be?

It's either a crappy, lowercase "n" with a hockey stick pasted to its side, or it's some post-modern, reductionism-movement rendition of a hunched-over forward racing with the puck.

It's a shame the Nordiques were sold off to Colorado. Had they stayed in Quebec, their jerseys would've been updated the following year, to what I think it a pretty awesome design. (Not as cool as the Gorton's fisherman, though.)

Spoiler:

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Yeah, that was grade A bullcrap, Vivi. Complete embellishment by the Sabre.
Get over it. Every team benefits from a questionable referee call now and then. Consider it delayed justice for some of the shit the Islander skaters got away with prior. If Buffalo had been penalized similarly at that point in the game, you'd be praising the referees on their willingness to make gutsy calls during the playoffs. So don't feed us this hypocritical line of bullshit. No player is a saint on the ice.

You act as if Buffalo's never, ever been screwed by a bad decision. I mean, we certainly never lost the Stanley Cup finals due to a questionable goal. No, sir.

How ya doing, buddy?
