I'm assuming the disco guy also makes a comback with his special; getting probed by aliens. (or was that the hippies?) I can't seem to recall. Although it was fun for the two hours I had played at my friends place.

This is extremely awesome.
Vigilante 8 is just plain good-natured wacky fun, with its colorful characters and vehicles. (Also, there is a back-story related to a gas crisis/shortage that's actually kind of interesting in a corny way.) It makes me seriously consider getting a 360, if they fix that 30% hardware failure rate. (And Uncle Sam doesn't take the shirt off my back this tax season.) I have Vigilante 8 and Vigilante 8: Second Offense for PS1, and I had V8: SO for Dreamcast but sold it only because the controls were
horrid. I don't see how anyone plays racing/driving games on Dreamcast with that crazy analog stick.
This is good news for gaming...
