I've been playing Super Paper Mario for Wii for the past couple weeks off & on. I like that it contains some good 'ole 2d Mario goodness, along with hidden areas. The story is actually kind of funny and I enjoy the game's humor.
I just started MDK 2 for PS2. This is another game that uses humor to good effect. The controls took a bit of getting used to. The thing I don't like is that it seems you can't configure each button on the controller, but instead you have to pick from around 12 different configurations. With all the different buttons, this gets too confusing. But, once you find the "right" configuration, it's all good. I am at the first boss, and it's a massive arena-style environmental boss, which is very cool for a first-gen PS2 game. Overall, I think I will probably end up liking MDK 1 better than its sequel, but we shall see...
