Basically I'm just wondering what the consensus is...would you rather love someone or be loved by someone? Be able to tell someone you love them or to listen to someone say that they love you? If you could only pick one of the two, which would you pick???

I assume from the text above this means that only 1 person can be in love in either situation, so either you love someone & they don't love you back
or someone loves you but you don't love them back. In that case, I would choose to love someone & not have them love me back, because I could move on and it wouldn't hurt the other person. It would be horrific to have someone truly love me and to have to crush their dreams!
