I focus more on playing than replaying. For example, I try to find 100% of the secret areas, bonuses, etc. the first play through. (Nowadays I use FAQs due to time constaints.) After 1 play through I'm pretty much finished with the game.

Because of this, I actually like it when a game gives you a "god mode" or insanely powerful weapons on the 2nd play through. For example, in Silent Hill 3 which I beat earlier this year, you can get an uzi with unlimited ammo on your 2nd go-around. I have started to play through the game again because of this, but probably won't go through the whole thing.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
