Regardless, is there any you all would care to recommend other than Gears of War for purchase? Waiting until MS fixes all the GOW issues before buying it. Leaning towards getting Call of Duty 2 or Far Cry Instincts Predator next though. Basically, I will be going for the cheap games first!

Yeah, I plan on buying that, though figured I might look for the game at Hollywood Video for rent, or at the very least a demo on XBOX Live. More interested in Ridge Racer 6 and possibly the latest Tomb Raider currently...

Kind of staying away from the retail games seeing how many people say the console seems to scratch the discs after a decent amount of use, regardless of how well one takes care of the media. Guess I'll stick with rentals until this issue is resolved...

Hi all! I just wanted to point out that I let my Gold account drop to Silver since I was never seeming to bother using it. Also, I am not buying much but Arcade games since I heard the console has a tendency to scratch discs and the pricing of the retail games, overall I am not on Live much...

Anyway, I will re-subscribe to Gold when I use the X360 more. Probably sooner than later now that many games are around the $20 price point! Not to mention that Ace Combat 6 kicks ass, if the demo is any indication!
