I haven't really had a chance to buy many games these last several months, but in the last month went out and lost it. So far the following have arrived:

Black (XBOX)
Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon (XBOX)
Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, The (XBOX)
Gun (PS2)
Killzone (PS2)
Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, The (GC)
Lord of the Rings: The Third Age, The (GC)
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (GC)
Spider-Man: The Movie (GC)
Super Mario Sunshine (GC)
Tales of Symphonia (GC)
Tron 2.0 (XBOX)

As for the reason that I bought these, well, I got them all super cheap. Less than $150 for the whole lot, brand new. Didn't really know what to expect from them either...

So far, I have only played a little of each, but all were good choices. Though I must admit, Morrowind seems a bit odd to me. Probably should check if there's a third-person mode. Weird, I love First-person in almost all circumstances, but just can't get used to it in a RPG!

BTW, anyone like Darkwatch? I notice you can get it for $17.99 currently at Buy.com, the cheapest I have found it. Since, I have wanted to get it since before it was released, plan on buying that next week. Definitely got a kick out of the demos at least.

Now, if only God of War could be found at such a price...

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Finally got around to buying God of War for the PS2. Haven't played it yet, but look forward to doing soon. From everything I have read and seen about the game, I'll more likely than not love it...

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Just played it a little and I must admit, it's a damn fine game. Definitely worth the $20 it costs now. I am in the middle of playing Ninja Gaiden, but like what I have seen so far. Looking forward to playing more...

The sex mini-game seems out of place though!

Anyway, my most recent game purchase was Darkwatch for XBOX. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I seem to be one of the few who actually like this game and think it's one of the better FPS of recent memory. While, I haven't gotten too far into the game, I am having a ball. Again, most definitely worth the money I spent for it.

Actually, Onimusha was a decent game. It's no Ninja Gaiden, but it was released before the other so there's no reason why it should be...

I have only played the first Onimusha on the PS2, any idea if the XBOX version is any better? Oh well, I still intend on purchasing the other Onimusha games, hopefully they are just as enjoyable as the first.

Regardless, at least the music is top-notch!

I was speaking idiomatically.

For PC, I finally bought F.E.A.R. - Extraction Point. Haven't gotten around to playing it yet, wanted to complete the original and haven't gotten back into it yet, after reformatting my HDD and moving to the Quake II/IV SE DVD. That said, I loved the original up to the 5th chapter I got to before the reformat however, so I am looking forward to going back...

Other recent PC games have been:

Apache Longbow Assault
Delta Force: Black Hawk Down -- Team Sabre
Hoyle Card Games 2007 (Playing this more than anything else currently, if you believe it)
Lego Star Wars
Pirates

Will need a joystick for Apache, but the rest are all great, fun games and come recommended.

I also bought myself a XBOX 360 last month for an early Christmas gift, along with the following games:

Assault Heroes (XBLA)
Bankshot Billiards 2 (XBLA)
Bejeweled 2 (XBLA)
Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII
Call of Duty 2
Chromehounds
Cloning Clyde (XBLA)
Contra (XBLA)
Crystal Quest (XBLA)
Defender (XBLA)
DOOM (XBLA)
Feeding Frenzy (XBLA)
Galaga (XBLA)
Geometry Wars Evolved (XBLA)
Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter
Hexic HD (XBLA) ~ Came with console...
Outfit, The
Perfect Dark Zero
Small Arms (XBLA)
Smash TV (XBLA)
Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting (XBLA)
Time Pilot (XBLA)

I have to say, I am really enjoying the games and the 360 in general.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?
