I have only seen the three movies, and a few episodes of the TV series on one of the cable channels broadcasting it currently. That said, thanks for posting the info, the movies mostly had me scratching my head. Really ought to see more of it...
Don't know if you want to discuss the music, but love what I have heard of it thus far. Should be ripping quite a lot of it soon, if you guys want them in lossless. Jam it back in, in the dark.

Anyway, I have the movie OST if you want a copy. Will be ripping it once the other 5 volumes of the OVA/TV music arrive. Also, I have a bootleg containing the vocals. Once I figure out which of the official CDs have what's on it I'll most likely buy that as well. As for Kenji Kawai's music, it always seems sort of strange to me. As much as I love it, I never did get fully into them. Looking forward to hearing his work from the TV and OVA series, since the films have more of a darkness to them than what I have seen of the others. Great orchestration and instrumentation regardless. How ya doing, buddy?

Regarding the music, anyone know of a good website with a discography of the different CDs released? Trying to find some CD info and track listings, but haven't found much if anything...
Qwarky, does your copies of Patlabor vol. 1-6 have the track listings? If so, I'll offer you an upgrade of them in exchange for said info.  This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Thanks! The good news, I have narrowed it down a little, found info for all but the first three volumes. Will keep my eyes open regardless...

Thanks for the heads-up! I'll be doing quite a few Patlabor rips in lossless soon. Volume 1-6, the Complete Vocal Collection and at least the second Movie OST. Not sure about the third, might or might not have it ripped already...
Anyway, let me know if you guys want an upgrade as such, or in a higher bitrate MP3.  I was speaking idiomatically.

BTW, that's a nice site you have there Bigblah. Just registered and will try to help out if and when I can. I have the reissue of Black Magic M-66 if you wanted any info on that album. Oh well, there's several titles I wouldn't mind seeing added. Will check the site often most likely! Just what I needed!  What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?
