it depends on what type of family you have really in answer to all questions. most families today are as understanding as people can get, but on an emotional level, it's dependant on the person. some families will explode at you, others will be hurt that these things happened, but try to help you out to overcome these issue. it takes 2 elements for this to work. you, for one, to have the courage to admit these things, and 2, your parents for how they'll take it. but have faith if you believe your parents care, and it'll all work out.
