Celtics lose again! Raise your hand if you were surprised. Ahahaha.

Can't call them tankers.
Well Paul Pierce has been out forever, and he is the heart of the team. :/

Any word on when Yao will be back? I haven't seen anything, but I've been speculating the beginning of March.

A lot of injuries on the Western roster in the All-Star game.

Yao Ming, Steve Nash, Allen Iverson and Carlos Boozer.

It seems that aside from Yao, the rosters seems set. The only other centers I see on the Western roster are: Amare Stoudemire and Mehmet Okur. I assume Amare is starting.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Kapono killing the 3-point contest was one of the highlights of the night. The fact that he wasn't even invited originally was a huge surprise, and the fact that he won proved something.

Howard got low low scores in the dunk contest, probably because of his height (he's the tallest ever to be in the dunk contest, or something). I thought his sticker dunk was creative though. Gerald Green definitely deserved his victory. Some great dunks by him.

Barkley was hilarious after the race - completely out of breath, didn't know the charity or the amount of money they were going to give. A great laugh.

I love how it started out slow, but after a couple of great dunks and alley-oops the game just rolled on.

West just held the momentum the entire time - and you can't forget the fact that they had 52 assists. 52 (versus the East's 29)!!!

I was speaking idiomatically.

Also, suck for D-Wad and the Heat. I've seen rumors (nothing official yet) thay he may be out up to six weeks. That's a blow for last year's champions who are only barely in the playoffs right now (8th seed in the east).
Right now, he's weighing the option of getting season-ending shoulder surgery. If he does that, the Heat are done - I can't seem them in the NBA Finals (or too far into the playoffs) without him.

Holy crap! Like he almost fell on it.

They talked about it on ESPN, but I didn't see the video. I like how they didn't even stop play, and both his teammates and his opponents just kept going with the ball.

CALL TIME OUT!

I watched the video with the sound (and the commentary). I didn't notice his knee...off to the side of his leg. I thought he would be in more pain than he expressed, but it might have the adrenalin from the game or just him keeping a blank face when he was on the stretcher.

Wade was in tears after his injury, Livingston grabbed it and cussed a few times but he was calm once he was on the stretcher.

In the happier news, yes, Howard did get robbed. It's obvious the judges didn't know what he was doing 'cause I didn't know and I was watching him on television (which I assume had a better view of what was happening). I didn't see anything special about the dunk until they showed the sticker, and I'm sure the judges couldn't see the sticker from where they were sitting.

He should have invited them over to stare up at his awesome.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Houston killing Philadelphia by 50 points was something as well.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I can't see the Washington Wizards going far in the playoffs with both Caron Butler and Gilbert Arenas being out. They were having a pretty promising season too.

In any case, looking forward to the playoffs - should be another great one this year.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

The New York Knicks traded Channing Frye and Steve Francis to the Portland Trail Blazers for Zach Randolph, Dan Dickau and Fred Jones.

Steve Francis is OUT of New York and on the West Coast, which is pretty interesting.

I'm kind of shocked that Portland would trade Zach Randolph though - he's a young guy (25 or so), and he averaged 23 points and 10 rebounds last year.

I'm guessing they're moving last year's first round pick, LaMarcus Aldridge, to PF to make room for Oden at center, but they're still giving up Randolph.

Portland's starting five looks like: PG Francis, SG Roy, SF Frye, PF Aldridge, C Oden.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
