Other than the PoTC, hydra goo, and crosshair, is there anything else that was changed?

I just got the game and just finished Hollow Bastion. Are the worlds really as simple as twilight town and hollow bastion or do they get more complicated (like in KH1). So far every treasure chest I've seen was easy to access and the worlds dont require much thought to get through. I'm kinda disappointed by how they dumbed down the gameplay to make it easier for little kids to play.

I just beat the game on proud mode and didn't get the secret ending...
 This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
