I'm quite happy to buy used games, mostly from ebay. The only games I get new are ones I simply don't want to wait for or that I receive as gifts - which is quite a few actually as most people buy me either games or books, not really interested in much else!

Our EB stores seem to have permanent clearance sales on just lately and I usually buy a couple of games every time I go - the sort of games that 'may' be ok to play, wouldn't normally buy but they're so cheap it's hard to resist!

As for consoles, all mine have been new except for a N64 which I bought from Cash Converters just to play Zelda. Cost me $50 for the console, 2 controllers and 7 games, then I had to pay $50 to get the bloody Zelda game! Still, it was worth it, I enjoyed the game and the N64 has never been touched since!

Jam it back in, in the dark.
