[PS2] Final Fantasy XII

God I swear I have the worst luck with this horrendous treasure system. I've been trying for the last 4 hours to get the damn Formalhaut. I know exactly where it is(where you fought the Antlion, there are two chests). I'm wearing a Diamond Armlet, yet it still won't appear. And apparently they appear pretty often and people claim to have a bunch of them.

Has anyone else had a problem with this? It's driving me insane. At this rate, I don't even want to try to get the Zodiac Spear from the Henne Mines.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Yeah, I finally got the Fomalhaut. I grabbed the Stone Shot while I was at it. Thanks a lot for the advice.

Wow, the Sagittarius is turning out to be tougher to get than I expected. I looked earlier in the thread and I saw you guys mentioning a trick to get Sagittarius Gems with Foobars, but I didn't see any specifics.

Is there a way to do this easily?

That sounds like a placeholder date. Remember, this is Square Enix we're talking about. We probably won't get FFXIII until 2008 or the middle of 2009. I wouldn't even put it in your radar until the middle of next year.

Yeah, that's definitely an EBGames date. Take it with six grains of salt. They do that for pre-orders. They have consistently been known to give dates like that and be wrong.

Since S-E hasn't announced a real date yet, there's a 100% probability that 12/1/07 is wrong. In order for it to come out in December, S-E would have had to released the game by now, considering localization takes a good 6-8 months at the minimum).

I'm pumped as hell for FFXIII, though.

I'm amazed at how quickly I got the Sagitarrius Gems and the Beastlord Horns to make the Sagittarius Bow. That was good advice, Metal Sphere. It took me 30 minutes to get them both, tops.

In the first fight you can steal the Genji Gloves and the Genji Shield. For the second fight you can steal the Genji Helm and Genji Armor. Steal during the 4th and 5th phase of each fight (each phase starts with a cutscene).
