RPG characters you like that everybody else hates.

I'll admit it......

Tidus kind of grew on me--in spite of the bad dialogue. That's not the character's fault. ("I'm not bad; I'm just drawn that way."--Jessica Rabbit) Not too many people remark on the fact that what started as a selfish journey of Tidus to return home turned into a quest to save Yuna, his father, and the world. He was willing to sacrifice himself to save them.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

They probably hated him because they kept forgetting to get him. Or it could have been his Limit Breaks--which I didn't care for, so I never used them after the first time. I like controlling my characters--so he was my healer.

As for Selphie....I liked her, but so did my friends. You have to admit, she had one of the more interesting introductions of a video game character. And I loved her weapon. She and Quistis were always with Squall when I could get away with it.

Auron's my favorite from FFX, and I don't think he's actually overlooked, but maybe overexposed. That may be why your friends don't like him. Kind of like hearing a song 20 times in one day can make you hate that song.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
