I grew up with 4 dogs and 3 cats, then when I moved out--I got a cat.

I love cats. I never have to walk her, and she's there for me when I get home.

I swear I cried a bucket when my first cat died. Then I got the one I have now, and man, is she a handful! But I wouldn't trade her for anything.
