I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, but anyway just out of curiosity, how would your family – parents, siblings, grandparents and so on – react to any of the following revelations? If you like, you can also can also reverse these questions to ‘what would I do if my child told me....’

I'm 38, my dad's dead, but my family lives on...

So:
1. What would your family do if you told them you were doing drugs?
|
Beat the hell out of me. No, seriously, they'd intervene.

2. If you told them you were going to marry some one of another race?
|
As long as it wasn't a bear or anything, they wouldn't care. However, since my last marriage ended in divorce, they'd ask me if I was sure about marriage again.

3. What would they do if you told them you were gay?
|
Tell me the same thing they told me when I had a boyfriend: If you visit, you have separate rooms.

4. That you decided not to go to college, even though you have the grades and money to go?
|
Well, I DID go to college, but my mom never really pushed me to go to school. That was my choice, so she'd stick by me with that decision, too.

5. That you were going to change your religion to one your family has never followed?
|
They wouldn't care. No, seriously, they wouldn't.

6. What would your family do if you said you had killed a person and needed help hiding from the police?

Turn me in, since my brother-in-law's a COP! LOL
Jam it back in, in the dark.
