I think the reason why Apple has been attacking Microsoft so much directly in their advertising is because they are trying to sway PC past and present users to switch over. Since Microsoft owns the majority of the market, Apple needs to find not only new users (which are few left) that do not use computers for the most part in their lives, but to move people from one side to the other.
I personally don't feel it has been overly successful, but I have enjoyed the commercials.  Most amazing jew boots |
