I bought use SNES almost all the time in the late 1990s. Most people had upgraded to the Playstation and N64 by 1996/early 1997, and I found tons of games at garage sales and whatnot. I bought Civilization for $10.... and must have put in hundreds of hours playing. Even to this day, I still play Civilization games (IV most notably) and I still own the many games I bought used.

I also bought a PS2 used (about a month of usage), that was kind of a bad idea. Within about 8 months, I started having problems with it... Although, I don't know how much a new one would have faired.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
