Without Marc Crawford in the bench for Vancouver this year, I don't know how they are going to do.

I just hope they make the playoffs this year. Doing ok so far. Let's hope they maintain momentum this year right up until the playoffs. They have a tendency of getting lazy near the end...

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Yeah, I agree, Cloutier sucked.... I mean, really sucked. Glad to see him out of the picture. I am assuming you favorite team of Vancouver?

I LOVE the Canucks. I have loved them ever since I could play hockey (6 years old)...

I have a few stories for you.

Go Vancouver Canucks for 2006/07!!!

How ya doing, buddy?

Man, I can't believe Vancouver lost to San Jose!!! Grrr....

And the Canucks had the classic jersey going too...

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Nope, haven't heard any comparisons yet. I wonder how Pittsburgh is going to do this year now that they have some clout? I think this season is going to be interesting just to see how much the Penguins can improve.

As for the Vancouver Canucks (My favorite team of ALL time!), looks like a mediocre season so far. I expect them to start shining sometime around late November to early December, and continue that until March or so. Hopefully they can hang in until the playoffs....

As much as I love Vancouver, I have never seen them be that competitive for the majority of the season. This time of the season is about the right time were Vancouver starts dominating.... by the last 10 or so games.... things fall apart. Generally, they are either lucky, or not lucky as to whether they get into the playoffs at the end of the season.

I still love them though!

I was speaking idiomatically.

Well, I honestly believe that the first game in the playoffs has no bearing on the actual series and the matchup. I would say by after 2 or 3 games, you can get a better judgment on who is the better team or will make it past the first round.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

AWESOME! Islanders won a game! Looks like the guys who pick Sabres in 4 lost a point. Hopefully, the series is Islanders in 7 and then I get 3 points that no one else will get! Yay!

Yeah. Calgary has seemed pretty dead. Looks like some of their spirit has left since losing to the Lightning a few years ago. They just haven't had the same push and grit they had that year.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

The Islanders/Sabres game was intense, but I have to admit, the referees had a real problem at the end with the hook on the Islanders break and no call and then three seconds later they call tripping on an Islanders guy who barely (if even), touched the Sabre player.... Like.... MY GOD!

Fiddlegoof, you rock on telling me how the Canucks won it. Thank God! I missed all the NHL games tonight.... Hopefully, I will get the chance to watch tomorrow. I LOVE how the Rangers rocked the asses off Atlanta... Two teams I hate the most, Atlanta and Nashville... I mean, terrible and disrespectful teams... The Hometown (Rangers) must have LOVED watching the game... 7-0 is awesome!

Too bad Pittsburgh isn't going to make it.... Oh well... maybe its Ottawa's time after all. But, its playoff hockey, so you never know.

I really don't think that was what he was aiming after. Its just kind of hard to swallow something that the other player didn't even do, and the ref was right there. If a referee doesn't make a decision on a call that was obvious then yeah, it was the ref's choice and was a mistake, but something that was totally uncalled for at pretty much every angle, with a minute to go, and the team down by one?... Hmmm.... then I wonder....

Update:

I updated the Ranger versus Thrashers picks. Congrats to The Dopefish for getting full points! When each series is done, I will cross out who didn't get any points. At the end of the round, I will tally up the points and have the current rankings posted.

Updated the picks. Looks like The Dopefish is going to dominant this round. As long as the other games turn out in favour. I think the call on the Rangers in 4 will help out.
