![]() Romantic, mysterious and with the right mix of strings, jazz and cheesy synth. Only had the score a few days, but it's already up there with The Lion in Winter, King Kong and Raise the Titanic as one of my favourite John Barry scores. ![]() Kinda reminiscent of Braveheart and, aside from the bird calls (a welcome surprise and a nice gimmick), it's really nothing new from Horner. But there's something about it that really clicked with me when I first heard it so, when I had the chance to get it cheap (for a new CD), I snapped it up. A really good score from Horner. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
