I highly recommend Taku Iwasaki. His work for Samurai X was astounding. The album for the first two OAVs of that series (Trust and Betrayal) has some of the best orchestral work I've ever heard. The Seisouhen soundtrack is pretty good too, although I found the the other one much more enjoyable. You can also find other styles from Iwasaki in his other soundtracks. I still didn't find these other soundtracks as enjoyable as the one for Trust and Betrayal
) I'm also throwing in my recommendation for Yuki Kaijura's Tsubasa, if you're more into the dramatic and/or choral stuff. How ya doing, buddy? |
