The sad part is getting 500,000 is pretty easy once you know how to do it. So I feel bad for those pulling out their hair over it. The biggest one I built using the console on Freeland was 960,220. The biggest I built using an emulator and endless gifts on Freeland was 1,000,160. I could've gone higher if I stacked my TOPS.
Jam it back in, in the dark. |

I forgot to mention that it is possible to stack I zones, however to do that you have to build an industrial zone away from the area you're planning on creating a stacked industry. The only residentials will be the ones that you will put down in the place of your future industrial area, you must bulldoze any housing that appears and replace it with parkland. In doing so you keep the demand for R zones high. As you move up and down the side of the screen with new R zones you then have to move your I zones further away. After you're done filling the area with R zones then you can bulldoze one at a time and add an I zone. When I start a city this is what I do, I also double stack so instead of 4 zones taking up a 5x6 area they take up a 5x5 area. It's very time consuming but well worth it if you have the patience. It takes me well over 100 years just to get my Industrial area prepped before I can begin building a city.
There's nowhere I can't reach.

I'm going to be building another one, I'm aiming for 1,500,000. So it's going to be interesting to see if I come near it.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
