Oddly enough, just yesterday was about the longest I've ever played a game in a sitting. I spent about 12-13 hours on Final Fantasy VI, with a couple of minor breaks to eat and go grocery shopping. I just wanted to finish it and not have it consume my upcoming work week.
At one point in the early afternoon my roommate came home for a few minutes. He asked, "So what are your plans for the day?" And I gestured to the screen and said "This." It's probably the most fun I've had playing a Final Fantasy and I was dying to hear Dancing Mad, the final boss music. Now that its spell is broken I doubt I'll play it again. Man I'm glad I finished it. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |
