Soo.... Did anyone hear about the fact that season three will be split up into two parts? And the second part won't be aired until february of next year?

That kinda sucks :-D

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Oh, I don't know, I live in Belgium and we got a new episode every monday... But now i've switched to ABC programming because Belgian tv tends to lag behind after a while.

How ya doing, buddy?

I don't know about you people, but this thread has got me watching Lost again, and I'm starting to get worked up about it again too. The season finale really was awesome.

Double Post:
Oh and by the way, I loved the psychological descent John Locke went through in season 2, it gave his character so much more depth.

Season two had its really really bad episodes, but there definitely were some gems in there like "?" or "Lockedown" and ofcourse the way better finale than the first season's. But isn't there going to be a change in writers in the third season? I thought I heard that somewhere, if that's true I'm kinda worried though, they could screw things up.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Actually, I found this to be a filler episode much like the ones somewhere in the middle of season two. I mean, seriously, they stretch the episode with flashbacks and meaningless conversations on the island not really clearing anything up. And then the last five minutes, just to keep us interested they throw in some very VAGUE new information. It's really starting to get on my nerves.

I wanna know what's happening back on the beach with John and Eko and Hurley (who was supposed to go back and tell everyone about what happened).

Also, I'm very interested in what Locke's role is going to be in this season. He was so dedicated to his button, but now that the hatch and the button are gone, he's not gonna sit on the beach all day long...

FELIPE NO

Well, I'm still afraid of the direction this season is going. There simply must not be a fourth season, so they have to wrap everything up now, and they're being very slow about it. Every episode, I ask myself what new information I have learned, and it's almost always close to none.
Hurry it up already.

I liked Henry gale better than Benjamin Linus by the way. He was much darker and more mysterious. He needs to have some dark secret agenda, because he has the perfect looks for it :-D

I know he still has a hidden agenda, but he doesn't seem to play it out as much as he used to anymore. It's a shame. I hope they don't do anything to Locke's character either.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Benry managed to gain his trust, and helped him to push the button when he was trapped under the door, only to find out that he was indeed one of the others. And on top of that he found out that Ben was on his way to collect him. I'd say that's enough to keep anyone thinking for a while, and with's locke's mental sate, i'd say change is more than likley at this point.

Well, in that case Locke can only sink deeper into mental instability which I happen to find great, it'll add more character to him. Benry made a different kind of evolution. But I guess we'll all just have to wait 'til next wednesday :-D

Pfff, I used to love LOST. But every single new episode leaves me saying to myself "Wow, another 45 minutes of NOTHING" The whole rescueing Eko scene is such an obvious filler.

Come on, we all KNEW locke, Eko and Desmond would be ok. So no surprise there. We also could have guessed that locke was gonna be the first one to go after kate, sawyer and jack. If only for the fact that he desperately wants to know more about the others and the island and he's not gonna find out more on the beach now that the button is gone. And that's really all there was said :-s so it was just an absolutely EMPTY episode.

And I still had some hope for the cliffhanger at the end, they usually give you something relatively good. But Desmond seeing into the future? Yeah... That's like, euh... hm.

It means that Desmond has some "seeing-the-future" bullshit. God I hate what this show's become.
Actually the déja-vu wasn't exactly like that. :-D Desmond told Hurley that he thought Locke was going after the others because he told so in his speech. Hurley then commented on that by saying Locke only said he was going after Eko. Later, however, Locke DID give a speech saying he was going after the others. Hence, Hurley has a sense of Déja-Vu because he somehow doesn't want to believe Desmond actually predicted that, it would be too weird, rather he feels like he heard it 'somewhere' before. In a nutshell :-)

If they actually go with the reborn theory the show is going to be dead. It's an interesting show because it isn't sci-fi. That's the only thing that keeps it going. If they go sci-fi they might as well just say that the whole experience on the island "was just a dream dreamt by hurley" It would be an equal lame solution to everything.

I actually LIKED this latest episode. Sawyer had some very honest and vulnerable moments here, I never really connected to his character because he was the 'tough' guy, but this changed completely tonight, he's really a very sensitive person. I thought the whole interaction between kate and sawyer was awesome. Ok, they yet again gave us only ONE new revelation, that there are two islands, but I really liked the character development in this episode as well as the interaction between the characters. Especially when kate says "I don’t know what they did to you, but it’s made you scared enough to lie about it, and that scares me more than anything else they’ve done to us."

Now they just have to be very very careful about what they're planning with Desmond. Making him ACTUALLY seeing the future is a very bad idea. The show will lose all credibilty. At least the credibilty it still has...

Oh, and one more thing, I got REALLY bothered with the predictability of this episode though. Like Sawyer being on the warden's side and conning the guy for the ten million. SO obvious. As well as the lightning distractor (or however it's called in English) They tried to make it look like 'A STRANGE DEVICE!' I mean, how lame is that! Everyone could see from the very first second that it was going to get hit by lightening and that "OMG DESMOND WAS RIGHT". They're losing their touch...

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

YES. That Santoro guy CAN NOT ACT. He totally fucked up that little scene where he was golfing. He had that sighing sound after every line which just sounded so amateuristic. Where did they find him anyways?
