Check it out. Not to mention I'm also in there. I'm the assistant soundtrack producer for Capcom's upcoming Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, and Ars Technica provided OC ReMix a great interview. Thanks for checking it out.

I'm curious, did Capcom mention during any discussions about the music, the 2003 arrangements by their own label Suleputer?

"Street Fighter Tribute Album" (CPCA-1083)
CPCA-1083: Street Fighter Tribute Album - VGMdb

Given the high profile of those arrangers, and that Capcom Japan (or at least Suleputer) already owns it, was there was any considerations at any time to just use those?
The game was 100% Capcom USA's project, so my guess is no. I certainly can't complain.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Yeah, I agree with you there. Besides, the SF Tribute album only had arrangements for 12 out of the 17 characters from Super Turbo. The New Challengers and Akuma didn't have anything on that album.
