Street Fighter III 3rd Strike 'Fight for the Future' Original Soundtrack (JPN) - Alex & Ken Stage -JAZZY NYC '99- is the crappy album version of one of my favorite tracks. The official album version of 3S's soundtrack is awful.

When the SFIII:3S track were remixed for the Sega Dreamcast release of the game (probably for all the home versions), this track was a lot beefier and energetic, plus the songs were split into the Mix 1, Mix 2, Mix 3 versions, which were all excellent. A lot of the other themes in there were also enhanced.

If anyone knows where I can snag a complete rip of the Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Dreamcast soundtrack, lemme know, as that soundtrack is infinitely stronger than the album version. Attached is an example...

Thanks. And I wanna make it clear, just in case, that I wasn't shitting on whoever for making the nom. But I remember how disappointed I was when, after playing the DC version, I downloaded the "official soundtrack". Also, you might be interested to know that the "needless" section from the nom is simply Mix 2 from the Dreamcast version (only emptier and with lamer sample usage, much like you discovered when comparing Mix 1 with the nom). Most of the OST versions are Mix 1/Mix 2 combos. None of the Mix 3 versions are part of the official soundtrack. So...someone hook us up with the DC rip. Be a pal.
