In Cool Edit/Adobe Audition you can probably edit a MP3 file without needing to lose quality. And it will be able to perform the pop removal.
Also, if you convert or save it to a WAV there's no quality loss, that is, if you want it as a WAV or are just burning it to CD again, no problem- otherwise you'll need to reencode it. - Spike Jam it back in, in the dark. |
