Well, given your reviewer cautiously pans it, the album doesn't sound very exciting
But the review is much appreciated. It's very hard to get objective commentaries or reviews for such releases, as many people may like video games such as Myst III (my wife's favourite game), or its' music and thus praise its' inclusion, despite as Jayson said in his review, it's straight from the Myst III score.
A tribute to game music should be something new, not just a 'best of' or compilation.
Also, that tracklist doesn't look very promising, hardly the 'best of game music' or games, even. Medal of Honor and God of War best games ever made? Yeah, right. Chrono Trigger is a different matter of course.
If your question means "What do you think of the concept of a best of album", then my response is, "an album done better than this", but if it means "What do you think of our reviews which are done in this format", then my response is, I like it very much.
Keep up the good work, I'll have to visit your site more often.
