Mayn Event - Name That Tune Tournament: April 10, 2006
http://www.mayn-event.com/
Pick a version (just a style; doesn't matter), then go to the Contest section. Original post as follows: http://www.tekkenzaibatsu.com/forums...35#post2463235 This is still a few weeks off, but I wanted to make record of this now. Anyway, this is a contest in a similar vein to the VGMQ. I found out about last year's Mayn Event tournament two days before the deadline and I managed to come in third place. Though I thought that was cool, hopefully I can get some stronger competition this time around, and that's where you guys come in. It's a fun contest, so check it out. Most amazing jew boots

Yeah, I'd say roughly around 1/3 of the tracks from the last contest were from fighting games, given that the site is actually dedicated to fighting game tournaments. Regardless, that didn't stop me from snagging third place. I think GoldfishX should enter this year. He seems to know a good amount of fighting game music.
There's nowhere I can't reach.

First post updated.
This started a month ago, apparently, but I didn't start participating until today. However, only the first 30/120 tracks are unlocked at this time anyway, and the contest lasts until next month, so there's still plenty of time left. Is it just me, or are a lot of the music selections damn good? I want to know the answers just so I can go hunt down the soundtracks. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I'm working on these now, but I currently only know about two dozen of them for certain. I'll send my answers off to you soon.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Yeah, I'm making my list up now on the last day, just like last year.

I think I got 5th place, but we'll see. I didn't do bad, but not as good as last time. I'm surprised that I missed out on on a few really obvious ones. Aw well, maybe I'll do better next year.
Also, congrats on stumping me with track 049. I knew it had to be some other version of SMB2, but I had no idea that Doki Doki Panic's music was any different. I figured it would have just been all the same. I have a question about track 106 though. It sounds exactly like a track from the album BROKEN THUNDER -project Thunder Force VI-, except slightly longer. How is this a fan mix? Is Broken Thunder a doujin album? What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?
