If this was released last Monday, you guys would have made the game's 10th anniversary for release in the US. As it is you're still rather close. Definitely looking forward to hearing some of the less popular tracks get some arranging love. Definitely NOT looking forward to hearing One-Winged Angel again, but if someone can put an interesting spin on it, I'll eat my words.

I've listened to this twice. Not bad, but Project Chaos still beats this easily. With the exception of a few tracks, this suffers from a reoccurring problem in these OCR projects. Namely, the problem of people trying to recompose the tracks when they couldn't write a good melody to save their life. They go and totally downplay the original melody, then try to add their own improvisations/phat beets/random riffs, and it sounds like horse dick. I'm all for originality, but all I ask is for one of two things: 1. Keep the original melody largely intact and recognizable. Supplement it however you choose. OR 2. Do whatever you want, but make sure it sounds at least as good as the original. I find that many of these project tracks fail on both accounts.
