Super Paper Mario
I'm almost at the end now at Bleck's castle, already beaten O'Chunks and Mimi. Absolutely brilliant game, too. The whole thing feels like an homage to Mario's and Nintendo's long legacy. And of course the whole 2D/3D flipping mechanic is nothing short of amazing, and fun. The three playable characters other than Mario feel a little like glorified Pixls tho, since you'll be playing as Mario most of the time on account of his flipping powers. The story is surprisingly good tho, and the dialogue is just brilliantly hilarious as always.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
So far it's pretty much a mixed bag; on the one hand we have prettier graphics and gameplay enhancements from MGS2, on the other we have mediocre, utterly inferior voice acting compared to the original and sometimes neat, mostly unnecessary Matrix-y cutscenes. Nonetheless, it's still entertaining enough, and isn't that what matters most in a game? Plus I finally got the experience the Psycho Mantis battle the way it was meant to be (damn you, PC version!).

Killer 7
Honestly. EVERYTHING about this game is utterly disturbing and bizarre. I love it already. Combat is tricky tho since precise aiming with the GC controller takes time, and you usually don't have much time before one of those Heaven Smile freaks blows up in your face. Plus the weirdness is a bit of a double-edged sword, as sometimes you'll have absolutely no ****ing clue as to what to do next. Nonetheless, it's a bizarre and unique experience and for that reason alone I love it. And Harman is an effing badass for a crippled guy in a wheelchair.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I have finished Super Paper Mario Loved the ending, as well as the fact that I get to freely explore the whole world now.

Also had a go at the Pit of 100 Trials, and made it somewhere into the 80's before I met my demise. Mind you, I didn't really make proper preparations before entering though.

Been playing through Melty Blood's story mode again as well today. Made it all the way to block O and got my ass thoroughly kicked by Giant Akiha. Now I know what VG Cats meant by "ridiculously unbalanced bosses".

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Finished MGS Twin Snakes just now (with Meryl surviving at the end). Despite the lacking voice acting and the sometimes over the top cutscenes, it was plenty entertaining, though definitely not superior to the original.

Next up, finishing the game with Meryl not surviving.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Going through it first time ever, and I fucking love this one so far. In fact I think it's better than Twilight Princess. All the "Celda" haters need to STFU; the artstyle is fantastic to look at and hella funny, and the story is a breath of fresh air after every single time we got the same rehashed tale in the other games. Plus it's just a hell of a lot of fun to play, like the other games in the series.

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition
It's the same brilliant experience as on the GC, only better. The Wiimote aiming does make the game easier than before, but it's also a hell of a lot more fun. However, it's still annoying that there's no way to strafe, and the timed action sequences (hit a button or swing the Wiimote to dodge an enemy) are still too unforgiving, even more so because swinging the Wiimote takes more time to pull of than hitting a button.

Transfomers: The Game
Geekgasm: Peter Cullen voices Optimus Prime. The game itself, while not special in any particular way, is still a hell of a lot fun, especially for Transfans like yours truly. Wrecking stuff, hauling ass and transforming at will are a blast to pull off. However, the game does have some serious faults; the camera is GODDAMNED annoying: you move a crosshair around with the Wiimote and whenever you aim at the edge of the screen, the camera moves in that direction, which coupled with the gesture-based melee combat causes the camera to go everywhere you don't want it to, and the boss battles get old REAL quick what with randomly tossing stuff at the boss trying to kill him. All in all however, it's a flawed but ultimately entertaining experience.

Whoa, time to seriously bump this thread.

Donkey Konga (PAL): Holy shit, this is intense. Intense and FUN. I've tried DDR before and I absolutely hate its guts, but this really rocks my world. Of course, it's still tricky to get the hang of it at first, but practice makes perfect. Challenge Mode, while very tiring, is an absolute BLAST. The song selection in the European version is okay (September is my favourite song so far), still need to check out the other versions tho. I should get a second set of bongos tho, for when one of my buddies comes visiting again.

Chibi Robo: This game is adorable. Absolutely adorable. Everything from the cutesy music and sound effects, gibberish "voices", fun play mechanics and heartwarming characters are designed to do nothing less but plant a huge smile on your face. I love it. The concept behind it all (tiny robot, limited battery) is brilliantly executed. Gameplay tends to get a little repetitive at times, and you're sometimes kept a bit in the dark too much as to what to do, but nonetheless it's VERY entertaining.

I was speaking idiomatically.
