Golden Sun was above what I expected from a GBA title, since it ran me about...twenty hours to beat it? Thirty? Regardless, a fun battle system with good graphics, a story sufficient enough to keep moving through the motions, and okay music despite the tinny speaker. The characters were the only downside, seeing that they never got above their stereotypes.

The second half of the game just felt too long, probably because of the time needed to travel around in your ship while collecting random items to pass some obstacle. It really lost the story until the latter half, where it improved enough to be passable. Other than that gripe, it retained the same fun of the previous title. I just wonder why they bothered with the silent protagonist when both Felix and Isaac had lines in the games they didn't lead in. Seemed a lazy descision by the developers.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
