I've had a few. One of which stands out is that the guy's roommate who asked me on behalf of him emailed me a semi-lame story of how he was searching to girl's whose first name was mine on the facebook and stumbled across my profile. He thought I shared similar interests with him and so set me up with him.
Turns out the guy was in one of my same classes that semester (last) and I realized it when I first met him. Can someone say... awkward? Anyway, we ate at some restuarant, and then he called me a few more weekends that semester. I guess he took the sign that I wasn't interested because this semester the calls stopped. I recommend blind dates, preferably with one of your friends (I took mine along). It can be fun, and it's worthwhile if you're single and looking for some fresh faces. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
