Contacts are a blessing for us blind people, like me. I think that everyone who is young, active, and have suitable eyes for commercial contacts should consider soft contacts as a viable solution. I don't see any excuse not to try them at least for a couple days. You just need to find the right brand and fit for you. They have never been a problem for me since I've been using them for close to ten years (wow, never realized that until now).
Switched to Alcon solution ever since the Renu scare, been using the same contacts brand as well. Didn't get around to those new contacts that allow your eyes to "breathe" better. Wore them for a month and decided the extra thickness wasn't worth the "extra oxygen". I take them off after dinner anyway. Never wanted to try hard contacts because soft is definitely cheaper and the disposibility feels cleaner. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
