For me. It's mostly in the character development, storyline & gameplay that make me want to see the game to the end.
Such is the case with the following; Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn - Interesting Plotline - Character interaction - Cool characters (among them: Boyd, Edward, Jill, Callil, Ike, Sothe, Micaiah, Muarim, Tormod & Nolan) - Very challenging - Super attacks, in the form of character specific criticals and normal Critical attacks Final Fantasy VII - Introduction of FMVs - Super attacks - Interesting Magic system - Cool characters (Cloud, Zack, Cait Sith, Aeris & Barret) - Plotline Jam it back in, in the dark.  ~Fav Radiant Dawn Character~
