Well, if you enjoy a good war related story. Then this new sequel would be for you. Otherwise, you shouldn't try it if your not as much of a war fan.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Then, I don't think you should get the game at all. Because if you get FFXII and that you rant it for just that one reason. I'd say that you're in over your head and that it'd be a waste of $49.99 (tax). Though, unlike you where you look at the outside appearance of characters. I look at the "inward" appearance. Where this game can provide lots of really interesting new features that can keep the gamer entertained.

Sorry, but that's just how I feel. When people like dissing characters like these. And perhaps the designer wanted to design characters like these. As they wanted to have original characters that would fit the war related theme in this game.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

lol.

Also, I find this Ability system really interesting. As you'd do the following

Spoiler:
It seems that in order to obtain such abilities like: magic spells, Gambit. You would need L.P (License Points). Which're no doubt obtained by means of killing enemies/bosses. Which're like used in a similar way that you use AP to purchase your Ability on FFX's Sphere Grid. In this game, you would move your characters about a board that looks similar to that of a chessboard

Also, the beloved Super Attack (Hissatsuwaza) has returned. Or otherwise known as Limit Breaks. In this game they're called "Mist Knacks" (japanese name for it). Which will no doubt be changed in the english version. As compared to previous FF games, where they had an innate only Limit Break attack. In this game, it seems that you can assign the Limit Breaks to each character. At this time though, it's unclear how you activate the Mist Knacks (Limit Breaks) in this game

I was speaking idiomatically.

Well, I'd rather wait for the U.S version (coming later this year). As it's priced at a more reasonable range. Which's $49.99 ($51 counting tax). But for the acting, I dunno. I only heard Vaan's so far. And it seems only "okay". But not the best seiyuu out there.

-_-' Then don't get FFXII if you feel that way. I mean, what's worse is seeing you guys whine like little kids with games like these. So, Square Enix did a really good job with the game.

Wrong. In the U.S version, the covers always had some kind of background behind the character (or characters). And the U.S version would be always tend to be more of the "flashy" type. Unlike Japan's white background and game logo only.

The only covers that had the same art cover was Kingdom Hearts II. Though, the U.S version is more or less an improved version over the Japanese KH2.

Sorry to say, but there will NOT be any japanese voices in the U.S version, so you really need to get over that fact. And besides, it's not as if you can do a more better job scouting VAs than Square Enix (which I don't think you can at all). Also, that's now how she says it <_<. If I heard that coming from you, I'd laugh my *** off (seriously).

Well, I was just commenting on what Saga said. Because when things like these come. For me at least, you can't help but laugh. Because when people buy the game and the 2nd they do when they've just moved an inch in the game yet they come here to rant. I just find it really funny, that it's really ridiculous.

For me at least, this' why I laugh at people that have these kind of comments. Because they tend to vent their rants early on in the game. And yet, when the finished product surfaces and gets to stores. People tend to have a 2nd oppinion. And Rei no Otaku, FYI. THAT WAS HIM! In the E3 trailer. That had that quote:

Quote:
"What do you care about Dalmasca? Everything that has happened is because of you!"
So, don't say that the actor will be bad. Just because you base it on some movie. Whether or not you've seen the trailer. You really can't say anything bad about him. As you never heard him fully in FFXII. But rather just some trailer of E3.

There is

Spoiler:
His name is Vayne Solidor, he appears several of times in the game and he tries to get the Dalmascan empire follow his ideals before he makes his true appearance as the game's final boss. He has a brother. His name is Larsa

from Wikipedia's FFXII section;

Vayne Cardas Solidor is the 27-year-old crown prince of Archadia and first in line to inherit the throne from his father, Emperor Gramis, his two older brothers having been killed in battle. Though he wields a considerable amount of authority, Vayne does not abuse his power; rather, he makes an effort to foster a positive relationship with the conquered Dalmascans and insists that the welfare of the people is his foremost concern.

In truth, Vayne, who is arguably the main villain, wishes to be the new Tyrant King and plans on doing so with the Oquelia called Venus.

Vayne is the final boss of the game and is fought three times, once on his own (using his fists), once with the power of Artificial Nethicite (complete with summoned magic swords) and finally with the power of Venus.

Larsa Ferrinas Solidor is the younger brother of Vayne Solidor and the fourth son of Gramis, eleventh emperor of Archadia. He is second in line to succeed Gramis as emperor and tries hard to gain the respect of his father and older brother. Larsa travels on occasion disguised as a commoner, adopting the alias Ramon so as to remain incognito. He joins the party midgame as a guest, but is not a playable character, however.

Yes, this' for the PS2. Or, rather this' the last Final Fantasy chapter on PS2. This and Dirge of Cerberus would be the final chapters on the system. Which FFXIII and FF Versus XIII would be only for the PS3.
