My mind wanders incredibly when I'm bored. I'm very focused normally, but I think I have some weird sort of internal ADHD, because I cannot keep my mind occupied on one thing when I'm playing the waiting game. Which is the worst game in the world by the way, no fun at all.
Example: I pick up a reader's digest. I start reading it, then start thinking about all the things in my life that relate to what I just read (usually a two-page ad with three words "LIKE A ROCK" or something) and before I know it I'm staring blankly at the page while my mind just slips from subject to subject without spending more than a few seconds on one thing. How ya doing, buddy?  |
