NES - Mario 1 pack-in (No Duck Hunt love for me!). I think the first game bought was SMB3. When I moved to Florida, the first thing I did was hook up the NES and play SMB3. That was one hell of a trip.

Sega Genesis - Sonic 2 pack-in, with Sonic 1 along with it. It was for Chanukah years ago. I found out about the system before I got it, which kind of spoiled the surprise, but it was still awesome.

SNES - I think it was Super Mario World, but I'm not sure. The system was actually bought used at a garage sale.

N64 - We got Super Mario 64, Turok, and Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire all on the same day as the system. It was a gift my dad got me for getting straight A's all through 5th grade.

PS1 - My mom got this in an attempt to make me want to be at her house more, and because she knew I wanted one because of Final Fantasy VIII (I played VII on PC). The first games I got for it were Parasite Eve and Mega Man Legends, along with the ultra-crappy game Punky Skunk for my sister (In a strange twist, that game turned out to be one of the rarer PS1 games around, despite that it doesn't go for much money)

Dreamcast - My mom's house was broken into in 2k, so she bought a Dreamcast to replace my stolen Playstation (Thankfully, my Dad's girlfriend had a PS1 for her kids, so I was always using it when I went to her house, so none of my games were stolen. The only game stolen was, of course, Punky Skunk.). She gave me a choice of any three games to start with, and while I wanted Sonic Adventure, RE: Code Veronica, and Marvel Vs. Capcom, they didn't have any copies of MvsC, so I got Crazy Taxi instead. I managed to beat Sonic Adventure the first day of owning the system.

PS2 - My mom went on a cruise with my sister, and rather than do that, I convinced her to buy me a PS2. The first game I got for the system was Zone of the Enders, which I promptly beat in one day, a strange repeat of the birth of the Dreamcast for me.

GCN - I did pretty well in my first year of High School, so my dad bought me a Gamecube. We picked up Resident Evil ReMake for our first game, which proved once again that I suck at RE games.

Xbox - I didn't really want an Xbox until KOTOR came out. I started seeing ads for the game, and reading stuff on the internet about how incredibly awesome it was. Not only that, but they had released Shenmue 2 on the system the previous year, which I was dying to play since I loved Shenmue 1, so my dad bought me the system for my birthday, and I bought myself KOTOR, Shenmue 2, and Panzer Dragoon Orta for my first games. I didn't get Halo until later in the year, since it was still going for the fucked up price of $30, two years after release. I know, I'm a cheap bastard.

Xbox 360 - First console system I've bought myself (Not including the second Dreamcast I bought for myself when they dropped down to $50.), since I have a job and the damn thing is ass-raping expensive. I picked up Kameo and Final Fantasy XI when I bought it (Final Fantasy was free with the purchase of Kameo, so shut up.)

I had an Atari, but I can't remember what was bought with it except the crappy DK pork (I didn't realize it was crappy at the time though)

Gameboy - I'm pretty sure this was bought used at a garage sale along with Super Mario Land. Great system though.

I can't fucking remember when I got my Game Boy Pocket or my Game Boy Color.

GBA - Happened to walk into Best Buy on the day it came out with no plans to buy it, and decided to buy it along with Castlevania: CotM. The first system I bought myself.

DS - Bought it on impulse on eBay. It turned out to have a broken touch screen, but Nintendo fixed it free of charge. Nintendo fucking rocks! Polarium was really cheap at the time, so I bought that.

PSP - Bought it a couple of months ago to play Valkyrie Profile. I ordered VP at the same time as the PSP, but I knew I was buying the system before that, so I bought Virtua Tennis and Lumines before I got the system ordered.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
