My vote goes to Cats. I happen to have a very friendly and affectionate cat who has made some of my friends who were strictly dog lovers re-evaluate their opinions. I managed to raise my cat to be open to anybody, I have friends who he has never seen come in, pick him up and cuddle him with his response being to cuddle back TO THE EXTREME. Oh and it's funnier to get a cat stoned than a dog because I notice the cat appreciates the buzz more, a dog usually sits, drools, and stares at a wall.
