Rare gold enemies seem to be weak to criticals, from what I can tell. Try equipping a Persona with high Luck when trying to kill them, I think it may help (though I haven't actually tested this).
I suggest only going to Tartarus during the night before the full moon, and maybe once or twice in the month before it. Since you can do all your grinding at the last minute, it seems best to boost S-Links/social stats during the other days, especially Academics. The only other time you need to go is to get cash (which you probably do a lot early on). Oh, and if it's the night before the full moon, bring lots of items, especially revival. You can't go to shop, obviously. I almost got screwed over once because I didn't have any items left, but managed to pull it through somehow. I remember this was asked awhile back indirectly, but I think all S-Links are independent with one another once you've unlocked them. Some S-Links require a certain level of another S-Link, but after that it doesn't matter. Another thing I noticed earlier, when trying to do quests that require killing monsters for an item, accept the quest first. In some cases the monster won't drop the required item unless you have the quest (gold enemies are like this, which is pretty annoying). This applies to a few "real life" quests as well. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Actually, not really. You're not splitting the EXP four ways, but only one person gets the EXP, so you still get the same amount of EXP. Unless there's some kind of bonus that I'm missing here, at least.
Also, using stuff like Marin Karin usually helps against the Tartarus bosses. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Spoiler:
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
However, on the night before the full moon, no one will get tired, so you can use those nights to train however much you want. So really, there's not much of a time limit overall. How ya doing, buddy? |
