Seriously though, I'd suggest picking up some things like Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. Broad variety of games on the disc, cheap, simple, very easy to pick up and play. Namco Museum Virtual Arcade is pretty good too, though some of those games might be a little too old for high school kids these days. It's also not difficult to find cheap copies of that console pack-in of Sega Superstars Tennis with the XBLA collection disc at used game stores.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
