Ideally I try to sit around the middle of the theater since I think it's a better atmosphere than the very back. As long as there's a bit of an incline to the seating I've never had a problem with seeing over peoples' heads, and I tend to go 2-3 weeks after a movie's release anyway.
Sitting in the front row is never a pleasant experience. I went to the movies with a (very short) friend to see Bruce Almighty and Matrix Reloaded, and my neck was killing me after both. Most amazing jew boots  |
