I've never been in an accident as a driver or passenger, thankfully. I've had tons of close calls since I moved to Asheville though. A town populated almost exclusively by retirees and college students is deadly. My favorites are the morons who drive straight out in front of me from a side road without slowing any, and then turn to wave as they pass in front of the hood of my car.
