I usually watch TV in bed without my glasses on for 15-30 minutes. With the lights out and no glasses the eye strain is almost always enough to tire me out. Otherwise I can easily stay awake til dawn most nights if I tried.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I don't often use strategies to fall asleep. Sometimes I find myself going to bed hours before the time I usually do, and if I clear my mind and don't move so much, I'm able to fall asleep quickly. Reading doesn't usually help me.
That's never worked for me. My legs and back start feeling cramped long before sleep ever comes, and I wind up just laying there with closed eyes for an hour. Boring, yet for some reason not sleep-inducing for me.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
